More than Conquerors

Romans 8 37

Verse of the Day:  Romans 8:37

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

We may have confidence in knowing that no tribulation, suffering, persecution, absolutely nothing can separate us from the love of Christ.   His love is not earned so it cannot be lost, it is undeserved and limitless.  We are not just conquerors, we are more than conquerors, not just in some things but in all things through Jesus Christ!

Bearing Fruit

John 15 8

Verse of the Day:  John 15:8

This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

Bearing much fruit comes with spiritual maturity. When you devote yourself to God and His will, the more this fruit is evident in your life. And when you aren’t connected to the life giving vine, you stop bearing fruit. Stay connected to God with daily prayer, reading His Word and by being thankful.

Joy Comes in the Morning

Psalm 30 5 (2)

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 30:5

Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

Be comforted in knowing that no matter what pain or sorrow you may be going through it’s only for a night (season), it will not last forever. The mercies of God are new every morning and you may be weeping now but joy will come soon. Remember that there is always something to be thankful for.

Different Task, Same Goal

Acts 20 24.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Acts 20:24

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

God has given each of us different gifts to be used for His purpose.  We should be content with what we’ve been given and use these gifts to the best of our ability. We each may have a different task but the goal is the same for all of us, to finish the race and to complete the task we’ve been assigned.

Heads or Tails?

Deuteronomy 28 13

Verse of the Day:  Deuteronomy 28:13

The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.

God wants to bless you, He wants you to be successful and fruitful.   He says that “IF” you choose to be obedient to His Word, He will bless you.  He won’t force you though, He leaves the choice to you.  Choose obedience and favor over disobedience and condemnation.

Saved from Yourself

Psalm 118 14.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 118:14

The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.

Even if you are going down the wrong path the Lord will never forget you, He will never leave you.  Surrender to His calling, it’s not too late to turn around.  The Lord will save you from yourself and from your own bad decisions.  Let Him be your strength, your song and your Savior.

Pray

Colossians 4 2.jpg

Verse of the Day:        Colossians 4:2

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

One of the ways to build your relationship with God is to spend time with Him in prayer.  Dedicate time each and every day to talk with the Lord and to listen to what He has to say to you.  Praise Him for all that He is and thank Him for His love and mercy.

Keep Praying and Singing

Acts 16 25

Verse of the Day:  Acts 16:25

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.

Paul and Silas were in a pretty bad situation but they kept praying and singing to God anyway.  Whatever difficult situation you may find yourself in keep praying and singing to God.  Keep praising God until he gives you the victory.

Feeding the Homeless

To God be the glory!  Today my husband and I were able to provide food and drinks to a little over 300 people in the city of Phoenix, Arizona.  We praise God for his goodness and mercy.  We’re so grateful to be able to be a blessing to those in need.  God is good!

Feeding the Homeless

Matthew 25 35

Verse of the Day:  Matthew 25:35

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.

By showing compassion and kindness to those in need you’re sharing God’s love and mercy.  Let everything you do be done as if you are doing it for the Lord. Let God work through you to fill the needs of His people. Don’t wait for someone else to do what God has called you to do.
