Fear Not

Verse of the Day:   Isaiah 41:10

Fear not for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

God is telling you not to be afraid because He is with you.  What better reassurance can you get?  God Himself is saying that you shouldn’t be frightened because He is your God and He’s going to be with you to strengthen you, help you and defend you not because you are righteous but because He is.  Knowing that God is on your side should make you fearless.

Verse of the Day:  Psalms 119:130

The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple,

Seek God with all your heart.  Study the Bible. Ask God for wisdom and revelation.

True Worshipers

True Worshipers

Verse of the Day: John 4:24

But the time is coming – indeed it’s here now – when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.

God is looking for people who will worship Him with all their heart and soul. What are you waiting for? The right person to come into your life? The right job? The right time? The time is now not when the the right circumstances happen. Worship changes everything!

Speak Up

Verse of the Day: Proverbs 31:8

Speak up for people who cannot speak for themselves. Protect the rights of all who are helpless. (GNT)

Speak up for the people who have no voice. Stand up for the oppressed. It is our duty to help those who cannot help themselves. We need to go out into the world and donate our time, money and resources for the poor, needy and suffering. We need to bring Jesus into the lives of others so they too may know the mercy, forgiveness, and love of God.

Know Your Worth

Verse of the Day: Proverbs 31:10

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.

Your worth is found on the inside not on the outside. Your character is worth more than fleeting beauty. Nobel characteristics like honesty, generosity, and courage are more important than your dress size, bank account, or looks. Your worth is found in God and your relationship with him, not in the opinions of others. Jesus paid the ultimate price for you because you are worth far more than rubies.

The Way the Truth and the Life

Verse of the Day: John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

The Way – There is no other path to the Father, Jesus is the only way of salvation.

The Truth – Jesus is the Word of God in physical form and the source of all truth.

The Life – Jesus overcame death and was resurrected and because He lives we also will live.

Your Own Work

Verse of the Day:  Galatians 6:4

Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else.

Don’t fall into the trap of comparing yourself to anyone else. God created you and you are unique.  If you are comparing yourself to someone who is doing better than you, you could fall into the sin of envy.  If you are comparing yourself to someone who is worse off than you, you could fall into the sin of pride.   God wants you to be the best you can be by following Christ’s example.  Live your life according to God’s Word and you will do well.

Stand Firm in Faith

Verse of the Day: 1 Corinthians 16:13

We are fighting a spiritual battle every day and we never know what the new day will bring. We always need to be vigilant, standing firm in our beliefs, being brave and courageous each day. And never forget that the Lord is with you!

Walking in His Word

Psalm 119 105.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 119:105

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Navigating this world is no easy task.  At times you may feel like you’re lost or walking in the dark but God’s Word is here to guide you and to show you the way you should go.  The more you know and study God’s Word, the more you can apply it to your daily life.  The more you apply it to your life, the clearer the path becomes.  Let God guide you through life with His Word.

To Seek and To Save

Luke 19 10

Verse of the Day:  Luke 19:10

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.

God loved us so much He made a way for us to be saved.  Jesus came to this world to seek and to save the lost, to offer us salvation.  He came to rescue us from a life of sin.  As Christians, we need to share this Good News with the world while there is still time.
