God Knows You

Psalm 139 1

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 139:1

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.

God knows everything about you, He even knows every hair on your head. He knows your heart, He knows your thoughts and He knows what you’re going to say before you even say it. He knows your past and He knows the plans He has for your future. More than anything God wants you to know how much He loves you and He wants you to know and love Him too.

God Hears You

Psalm 86 7

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 86:7

When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me.

Faith is not about having the answers; it’s about knowing the one who has the answers.  Having a relationship with God is what’s important and we can be encouraged in knowing that God hears our prayers. If we learn to trust in Him, when we call on Him, He will give us peace and comfort. We can have confidence in God at all times even when we can’t find the right words to pray, God hears our heart.

God Sees You

Verse of the Day:  Genesis 16:13

She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.”

God sees you. He knows your heart and He knows your pain. You are not alone. He loves you more than you could ever imagine. Trust God and give Him your brokenness. Allow Him to heal your heart and lead you to restoration.

Healing for Your Mind, Body and Soul

Verse of the Day:  Luke 13:12

When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.”

Jesus already knows your condition and He is calling you because He has compassion for you.  If you need healing come to Jesus, He can heal your mind, body and soul. The first step in healing is coming to Jesus, the second is faith. He can set you free from whatever chains are holding you down.

Memorial Day

John 15 13

Verse of the Day:  John 15:13

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

As we celebrate and enjoy our freedom this Memorial Day let’s take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of the holiday as we remember those who gave their lives in active military service.  Let’s honor these heroes by praying for their families, praying for one another and praying for our country.

More of Jesus, Less of Me

John 3 30.jpg

Verse of the Day:  John 3:30

He must become greater; I must become less.

More of Jesus, less of me in all things.  In our hearts, in our lives, in our relationships, in our families, in our churches, in our work place, in our schools, in our communities, in this world – We need more of JESUS! There is nothing our soul needs more than Jesus. The world keeps forcing Jesus out of their lives and then they wonder why things aren’t going well, why things are dark – Jesus is the Light of the world. Whoever follows Jesus will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. Open your heart up to Jesus, let His light shine in you for all the world to see.

Hope for Today

Romans 15 13

Verse of the Day:  Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Without hope we feel helpless, alone and powerless.  But our God is the source of all hope.   Hope for healing, hope for peace, hope for joy and hope for the future.  All hope comes from knowing, believing and trusting God. By His grace and by the power of the Holy Spirit, God has given us the precious gift of hope. If you feel hopeless, seek a relationship with the author of all hope, God Almighty.

The Right Direction

Isaiah 30 21.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 30:21

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

If you are at a crossroad in your life or have an important decision to make and you’re not sure which path to take listen closely to the Holy Spirit, who will guide you onto the right path.  Humbly and earnestly seek guidance through prayer, fasting and studying the Word of God. The Holy Spirit also helps you in your day to day life when you are in tune with His prompting, which are always aligned with scripture.

Let God Guide You

Psalm 48 14.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 48:14

For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.

We all need directions to get us to where we want to go. Spiritually speaking, it’s the same thing. God has given us a spiritual compass, the Holy Spirit, to guide us through life every step of the way. He has given us a “map”, the Holy Bible, to show us the way we should go. If we are obedient to His instructions God will lead us day by day.
