My Defender

Deuteronomy 20 4

Verse of the Day:  Deuteronomy 20:4

For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.

Those that love and trust in the Lord may call upon Him in their time of need. Whatever battles you are fighting be it physical, mental, emotional or spiritual, God is with you and He will fight for you, defend you, and protect you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and He will give you the victory.

Restorer

Psalm 30 11

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 30:11

You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy.

For whatever reason, be it sin, mourning, sickness or something else, if you are in a season of darkness return to God.  He is the restorer of light and goodness.  By his grace He will turn your sorrow into joy, your brokenness into beauty and your wailing into dancing.

My Deliverer

Psalm 34 19

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 34:19

The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.

Life can be hard and at times may even seem unfair.  You will go through tough times but don’t give up hope.  Keep your mind on the things above.  Keep praying.  Cry out to God and be comforted in knowing that He hears you. Keep your focus on God and He will get you through the troubles that come your way and in due time you will be delivered from them all.

God is Faithful

Psalm 89 2.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 89:2

I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself.

Though life may disappoint and try us, we can be assured that God honors and fulfills His promises. We can rely on God’s faithfulness which has been established in heaven. During the deepest trials our faith in God’s love and mercy continues to bring us comfort. Our hope and confidence in God lies in His faithfulness because His Word is true and trustworthy forever and ever. Even if we are faithless, God remains faithful.

God is Good to All

Psalm 145 9

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 145:9

The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.

God is the essence of perfect goodness. He is kind, caring, compassionate, generous and merciful toward all who seek Him. There is not a single person God is not ready and willing to bless; not a single person who God does not want to see happy and not a single sinner God would not show mercy to.  Everything from God is good and all good things are from God. Turn to God, His goodness and love last forever.

God is Omnipotent

Jeremiah 32 17.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Jeremiah 32:17

Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.

God is all powerful and there is nothing too hard for Him.  When you feel overwhelmed by your circumstances you need to remember that you serve a mighty God who created the heavens and the earth. For Him, nothing is impossible.  Nothing is beyond His power and there is nothing that His power cannot do.
