Verse of the Day:  Proverbs 31:30

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

Outer beauty is only skin deep and won’t last forever. The world wants you to think that your outer beauty is the most important thing and as women, we should chase after it. But no matter what you do to the outside it will never be enough, it will never make you truly happy and it will never please the Lord. A truly beautiful woman has the fear of the Lord in her heart which is also the beginning of wisdom. She puts God first and puts her relationship with Him above all else. Her character is rooted in the ways of the Lord. She knows that the way God sees her is more important than how the world sees her and she finds favor in His eyes.

National Day of Prayer 2

 

Let’s join together today to pray for our country. Our country and our people need God’s healing power more than ever. Let us unite and pray for our government leaders, military, and first responders. Pray for the doctors, nurses, researchers and all others who tirelessly work to save us from the Covid-19 pandemic. Pray for our businesses, schools and churches who have also been adversely affected. Pray for God’s mercy and grace, direction and wisdom. Most importantly, pray for our people to know how much God loves them.
