Verse of the Day:  Psalm 72:13

He will have compassion on the poor and needy, And the lives of the needy he will save.

The Lord is merciful and has compassion on the poor and the needy. Not only does He offer salvation for their souls but He also takes care of their physical needs. Jesus made time to heal the sick, feed the hungry and He cared for the weakest among them. We must also have a heart of compassion for those in need. If there’s a specific charity or need that touches your heart, take the next step and make a donation or volunteer your time and service to an organization that addresses those needs.
