Verse of the Day:  Romans 10:17     

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 

We know God can speak to you and grow your faith through His Word when you read the Bible, when you hear a sermon and when you pray. But did you know He can also speak to you through other believers, through music, nature, even social media? We cannot confine or limit the ways in which God can speak to us. Have you ever been going through a rough time and you get into the car and at just the right moment a song comes on the radio that gives you the encouragement you needed? That’s God. Maybe a friend sent you an encouraging text or a Bible verse that you needed to be reminded of, that’s God. God is able to speak to you in many ways if you would only surround yourself with the things of God and put yourself in a position to be receptive to His voice.

Lord, thank You for Your Word and for all the ways You speak to my heart and encourage me. I need You in every moment of every day of my life. In this fast-paced busy world, help me to remain focused on You so that I am able to recognize Your voice no matter which way You choose to speak to me. Help me to have a receptive, faithful and obedient heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen
