Verse of the Day: 1 Corinthians 13:4

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 

No one is perfect and everyone has faults and quirks, but when we have genuine love we can learn to be patient and overlook the things that frustrate and possibly even annoy us. When we are patient and kind we try our best to focus on the wonderful qualities of the people we love. Just like our heavenly Father is patient with us we should also be patient with those we love.  It’s not always easy but don’t give up everything worthwhile takes effort.

Heavenly Father, thank You for always being so patient and kind with me. I know that I am not perfect and even when I’m at my very worst, You still love me and want the best for me. Help me to be more like You Lord. Help to be patient and kind and to have a heart that is willing to forgive. Help me to see the good in people and to see them the way You seem them Lord, as precious in Your sight. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
