Verse of the Day: Colossians 3:13
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
In all our relationships, whether it’s with a friend, family member or spouse at some point one of us may do something to make the other angry or hurt each other’s feelings. We’re not perfect and we make mistakes. It may be something small or something really big, either way it’s how we handle these offenses that determines how the relationship will proceed. It takes genuine forgiveness to make a relationship work and survive. God has forgiven us of all our sins both big and small and He expects us to forgive others as well.
Lord, thank You for the love and mercy You show me daily. Lord, help me to forgive others as You forgive me. Help me to truly forgive so that resentment and bitterness don’t grow in my heart. Lord, I give it all to You so that You can turn my anger, pain and frustration into peace and joy. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
