Verse of the Day: Proverbs 22:6       

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

One of the most important things we can ever do is to teach children how much God loves them. Knowing they are loved by God, the Creator, Himself will give them confidence to shine. It’s our responsibility to teach our children the ways of the Lord, to teach them what it means to be a child of God and to pray for and with them. It’s up to us to give them a strong foundation on which they can rely. Let’s be examples for the children in our lives and teach them what it is to know and love God and what it is to be loved by Him. If we don’t teach them to follow Christ, the world will teach them not to.

Lord, thank you for our children, we know that they are a precious gift from You. Help us to give them a strong foundation rooted in Your love. Help us to be a good example of what it means to follow Christ. Watch over them Lord and keep them safe. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
