Verse of the Day:  Proverbs 14:30    

A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.     

When you have a real relationship with God, He changes your heart. You start to feel freed from anger, worry and envy. You have peace in your heart and a hope that makes you joyful. But a heart that envies the happiness, prosperity and success of others exhausts the body and soul.  Don’t let envy steal your peace and joy, don’t let it affect your spirit or your health. Count your own blessings and be happy for the blessings of others. Trust in the Lord, what is meant for you won’t pass you by.

Lord, thank You for all Your blessings in my life. When I am tempted to compare myself to other people help me to keep from being envious of their blessings. Help me to be at peace so that I won’t allow envy to steal my joy. I trust in you with all my heart and I know that what is meant for me won’t pass me by. Thank You Father, for all You do for me. Amen
