Verse of the Day:  Proverbs 3:1-2     

Do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.                                                  

People often joke about life not coming with an instruction manual. It actually does, it’s called The Holy Bible. The Book of Proverbs is an excellent place to start if you’re looking for instructions. It is an example of Biblical wisdom and raises questions of values, moral behavior, the meaning of human life, and right conduct. (Wikipedia) It is for gaining wisdom and instruction; for understanding words of insight; for receiving instruction in prudent behavior, doing what is right and just and fair (Proverbs 1:2-3) If we live our lives according to God’s commands and keep His Word in our heart we can avoid many problems and live a long, peaceful and prosperous life.  

Lord, thank You for Your Word that guides me through life. Help me to treasure and keep your commands in my heart as I trust in You and submit my life to You. Amen
