Verse of the Day:  Philippians 1:20   

I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.   

God’s grace and the hope He gives us means we don’t have to be ashamed of any suffering we may encounter for Christ. We must have the courage to follow Jesus and declare Him to be the Son of God, the Messiah and the Lord of our lives no matter what is going on around us. People may mock or ridicule us for our faith and as believers in Christ when things are not going well or when we face troubles but do not be shaken for we serve a mighty God. Be courageous and determined to always do your very best to obey the call of God in all circumstances.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your amazing grace and the hope that is found in Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. Help me to be courageous in the face of adversity and to stand firm until the end for I am unashamed of my faith in Jesus Christ! Amen
