God is Omnipotent

Verse of the Day:  Jeremiah 32:17    

Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.

God is all powerful and there is nothing too hard for Him. When you feel overwhelmed by your circumstances remember that you serve a mighty God who created the heavens and the earth and has infinite power to do anything. Be encouraged and let your faith be strengthened by knowing, that for God, nothing is impossible.  Nothing is beyond His power and there is nothing that His power cannot do.

Sovereign Lord, when I am feeling overwhelmed or discouraged help me to remember that with You all things are possible. May my faith be strengthened in knowing that I serve a mighty God! Amen

Kind Words

Verse of the Day:  Proverbs 16:24    

Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

Let’s all make an effort to encourage the people around us, especially the people we love and care about most. Kindness doesn’t cost a thing yet it’s so valuable. We can build each other up with loving and kind words that promote hope and courage. A kind word can change someone’s entire day and we all can use a little kindness. Encourage love and kindness for they are never wasted in God’s eyes.

Lord, help me to be an encouragement to those around me. Let my words promote hope and courage and help me to build them up through thoughtful acts of love and kindness. Amen
