Verse of the Day:  2 Corinthians 3:17           

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.         

As a nation, we are grateful for the freedom and the rights we have in this country and it’s a tradition to celebrate the day we declared we declared ourselves to be united, free, and independent. We are fortunate to live in a country where we are granted several basic liberties – freedom of religion, speech, press, petition, and assembly. We also have the inalienable right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. As believers in Jesus Christ, we have a spiritual freedom that should be celebrated every day. God is present in our lives and we are free to believe, trust and love the Lord with all our heart. Enjoy the life and the freedom God has given you. Celebrate the true freedom that comes from knowing and having a relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ!

Heavenly Father, thank You for this day and for the freedoms we have in this country. Above all else, Lord, we thank You for the spiritual freedom we have to believe, trust and love You with all of our heart. Thank you for the true freedom that comes from knowing and having a relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen
