Verse of the Day:  Psalm 46:10         

Be still, and know that I am God       

Often, we are tempted to try and work everything out for ourselves but what we really need to do is to just let go and give it all to God. When you are struggling to make things work out the way you want them to just stop, be still, wait patiently without fear, abide in His Word and let God’s will be done. Acknowledge that He is God and He is in control. He knows you, He knows your troubles and He will make all things work for the good of those who love Him. (Romans 8:28) Surrender your need to control the situation and let God be in charge of your life, His ways are always better and He is always faithful to His Word and His promises.     

Heavenly Father, forgive me for the times I try to take things into my own hands. Help me to just be still and let You be in control. Lord, I surrender it all to You because I know You will work things out for my good. I pray for Your will to be done. Amen
