Verse of the Day:  1 Corinthians 1:31           

Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

True wisdom is not found in your own understanding, strength is not found in your own power and wealth is not found in earthly riches. They are found in knowing the one true living God. I cannot boast about anything I have because I know that every good gift comes from my Father above. Everything I have and everything I am is because of God’s unfailing love, mercy and saving grace.  The only thing I can boast about is knowing the Lord. I can boast about His kindness, justice and righteousness. I can brag about what He’s done for me, how He changed my life, and how He saved a wretch like me.

Heavenly Father, You have been so good to me and Your love and mercy never fail. I will speak of Your goodness all the days of my life. Amen
