Verse of the Day:  Romans 6:23       

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Spiritual death and separation from God is the price we pay for sin. Yet, because of God’s great love for humanity He sent His only Son to pay the price that set us free. Eternal life is a gift given to us by the grace of God through faith in Jesus, not by our own efforts or works so that no one will ever be able to boast about earning or deserving eternal life, it is a free gift from God. Eternal life is not only life after death and it’s not just the destination of heaven. It’s also the present journey of knowing the one and only true God and Jesus Christ. True eternal life begins with a personal relationship with the Lord. Start living eternally and not merely existing, love one another and love the Lord with all your heart, soul, strength and mind.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your great love for us that saved us from death. I accept Your gift of eternal life through Jesus. Help me to see You more clearly and love You more dearly. Amen
