Verse of the Day: Proverbs 1:5
The wise hear them and grow in wisdom; those with understanding gain guidance.
Fruit of the Spirit: The Book of Proverbs is a collection of sayings and instructions on how to live a godly life and to guide all people in what is right, just, and fair. When we gain wisdom and understanding and are walking with Jesus the Fruit of the Spirit will be evident in our lives.
Verse of the Day: Matthew 18:20
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.
Fruit of the Spirit: Pray for your friends and with your friends. Pray that they would have Love, Joy, and Peace in their lives. Pray that they would be able to be Patient and Kind when dealing with others. Pray for them to act with Gentleness and Self-control in all situations. Pray that their Faithfulness would exude Goodness in all areas of their life.
Verse of the Day: 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Fruit of the Spirit: We may not be able to solve everyone’s problems but we sure can be an encouragement to everyone by spreading Love, Joy, Peace, and Kindness. Let your words be an encouragement and an inspiration to those who hear them.
Verse of the Day: Matthew 12:36
But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.
Fruit of the Spirit: Your words matter, they have the power to help or harm. Kindness is having the ability to speak with Love, listen with Patience and act with compassion. Use your words to build each other up not to tear each other down.
Verse of the Day: Colossians 4:5
Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.
Fruit of the Spirit: Always conduct yourself in a way that pleases God because you represent Him in everything you do. Make the most of every opportunity by treating everyone with Love, Patience, Kindness, and Goodness. Let them see God in you.
Verse of the Day: Proverbs 22:24-25
Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared.
Fruit of the Spirit: Friendships can have an influence on you, so make good decisions about the people you allow into your circle. Keep away from people who are easily angered and do not bring Love, Joy, or Peace to your life. Stay away from people who are not Kind, Good, or Gentle, and have no Self-control.
Verse of the Day: Proverbs 12:26
The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
Fruit of the Spirit: Choose your friends carefully. Surround yourself with people you bring you Love, Joy, and Peace. Find people who will encourage, inspire, and motivate you to be a better person.
Verse of the Day: James 1:12
Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
Fruit of the Spirit: Be Patient through afflictions and trials, stand firm in your Faith, keep believing and keep praying. You will be rewarded for your Faithfulness. Trust in the Lord and don’t give up!
Verse of the Day: Psalm 130:5
I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
Fruit of the Spirit: Wait with Patience and Faithfulness for the Lord’s promises to be fulfilled. His timing is perfect, it’s never early, never late, and always on time.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 61:2
From the end of the earth will I cry to thee, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Fruit of the Spirit: Are you feeling overwhelmed, troubled, alone, or far from God? Cry out to the Lord, He is always there to help you, to support you, and to bring you Peace. You are never so far away from God that He cannot reach you.
