Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Fruit of the Spirit: Teaching children about the Lord and what it means to be a child of God will give them the good foundation they need. We can also explain each of the Fruits of the Spirit, but even better, we can demonstrate the Fruit of the Spirit in the way we live.
Verse of the Day: Proverbs 3:1-2
Do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.
Fruit of the Spirit: When we live our lives according to God’s commands and keep His Word in our heart we can avoid many problems and live a long, Peaceful and prosperous life.
Verse of the Day: Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Fruit of the Spirit: God’s Word will never change, it is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We can rely on His promises and knowing and trusting in His word give us Peace and Joy.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 63:1
You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.
Fruit of the Spirit: When you seek God with all of your heart you will find Him and your relationship with Him will grow. As you grow closer to God and begin to live for Him the Fruit of the Spirit will be evident in your life.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 143:8
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.
Fruit of the Spirit: Beginning your day with God and His Word allows you to face the day with Peace and Joy in your heart.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 150:6
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
Fruit of the Spirit: If things are going well, praise God. If things aren’t going well, praise Him anyway. Praise God through faith, with love and joy for His goodness and mercy.
