Deep Waters

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 43:2           

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.

Fruit of the Spirit: When going through challenging waters or fires, the presence of God and the assurance of His protection grants us Patience to endure the trials without losing hope. Trust in the Lord to make a way even when there seems to be no way.

Wise Decisions

Verse of the Day:  James 1:5

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.   

Fruit of the Spirit: Ask the Lord for guidance and wisdom to make good and right decisions so that your soul may be at Peace.

Strong and Courageous

Verse of the Day:  Joshua 1:9           

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.           

Fruit of the Spirit: How can you be strong and courageous when you are afraid or discouraged? By remaining Faithful to God, knowing that He is with you always. Let God’s Peace rule in your heart and give you the strength and courage to overcome fear and discouragement.

Overcome Your Unbelief

Verse of the Day: Mark 9:24  

Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”   

Fruit of the Spirit: The enemy will try to destroy your faith by planting seeds of doubt in your mind. Remain Faithful and ask the Lord to help you overcome any unbelief. Even Faith as small as a mustard seed can still moves mountains.

Take Refuge in the Lord

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 57:1           

Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me, for in you I take refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.

Fruit of the Spirit: Run to the Father and leave your troubles at His feet. Let His Love and Peace cover you, for there is no safer place to be than under the protection of the Lord your God.

Getting Through Dark Days

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 43:5           

Why, my soul, are you downcast?  Why so disturbed within me?  Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.         

Fruit of the Spirit: Count your blessings not your problems and by Faith, continue to praise God. God Loves you more than you know and He is always there for you. Praise the Lord and let His Peace fill your heart.

Keep Serving the Lord

Verse of the Day: Romans 12:11      

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

Fruit of the Spirit: Don’t let the troubles of this world come between you and God. All these things are temporary and this is not our eternal home. God is with you always so keep serving Him with Joy and Faithfulness, even in the difficult times.

The Work of Our Hands

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 90:17         

May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us — yes, establish the work of our hands.          

Fruit of the Spirit: Whatever you do, do it for the Lord’s honor and glory. Ask God to bless the work of your hands so that you may be Fruitful and productive.

Lend a Helping Hand

Verse of the Day:  Proverbs 31:20    

She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.           

Fruit of the Spirit: Do what God puts it in your heart to do and lend a helping hand to someone in need. Even the smallest things done with Love and Kindness make a difference.

Use Your Gifts

Verse of the Day:  Romans 12:6-8    

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

Fruit of the Spirit: Use your God given gifts for the good of God’s kingdom and His purpose. Whatever you do, do it with Love, Patience, Kindness and Gentleness so that the Lord may be glorified.
