Worry or Worship

Verse of the Day: Philippians 4:6

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

No matter the source of your anxiety, whether they are spiritual or physical, whether they pertain to yourself or someone else, bring them to God through heartfelt prayer. Instead of worrying, approach your heavenly Father with a sincere and humble heart and lay your burdens, worries, and cares at His feet. Express gratitude for the blessings He has bestowed upon you in the past, acknowledge your dependence on Him as you make your requests through prayer in the present, and thank Him in advance for His future answers to your prayers. Approach Him openly, sharing your emotions and needs, even though He already knows them, for He desires to hear from you personally. Ultimately, the choice is yours: you can choose to worry or to worship, but you cannot do both simultaneously.
