Verse of the Day: 1 Peter 2:23    

When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to He who judges justly.   

When someone goes against us, attacks, or offends us, our instinct is to shield ourselves when faced with hurtful words, criticism, or falsehoods. We might want to fight back and defend ourselves by saying similar things. But Jesus showed us something special. Even when people insulted Him and He was suffering, He didn’t insult them back. Instead, He trusted God and followed God’s plan. We can learn from this and trust in God too. Let God be the one who defends us. He will fight for us and He will judge and decide what should happen to our enemies.
