It’s not always about the words you use when you try to tell people about Jesus. Sometimes actions do speak louder than words and it’s the way you live for Christ that makes the most impact. Whether you know it or not, people are watching you. They are watching to see if your actions match your words. They know you can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk? No one is perfect and God is continually working in us but we can try our best to live a life of humility and integrity. Lord, I pray that my faith would be seen through my actions, that not only would I have the right words to say, but that I would also demonstrate Your great love through good deeds. Amen

When it comes to marriage let’s not just talk about love, let’s show our love with actions. Throughout the Bible God shows us that love is an action not just a word. Two of the greatest acts of love in the Bible are when God gave His only Son and Jesus laid down His own life for us. We can never out love God but we can do our best to show the love God shows us to our husband or wife. God is our example by being caring, compassionate, forgiving, merciful, patient, faithful and so much more. Let’s not love with words but with action.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the greatest act of love. You gave Your one and only Son who then gave His life for us. We know we can never out love You, Lord, but with Your help we pray that we can be loving, caring, compassionate, forgiving, merciful, patient and faithful in our own marriage. Help us Lord, to not only love with words but with action and in truth. Help us to do everything in love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
