Pray for All People

1 Timothy 2 1 (2).jpg

Verse of the Day: 1 Timothy 2:1

I urge you first of all, to pray for all people.  Ask God to help them, intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.

Take time to pray for your family, your friends, your co-workers, your neighbors and while you’re at it, pray for your enemies as well.  We don’t always know what they are going through but one thing is for sure, they can always use our prayers.

Intercession

Verse of the Day:  1 Timothy 2:1

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people-

Intercession is prayer said on behalf of and for other people.  God wants all people to be saved so we should be praying for everyone we know and even those we don’t know.  We can pray for their needs, their health and most importantly for their salvation.  When we pray for others God’s love works through us.  Who will you pray for today?

Do Good

1 timothy 6 18

Verse of the Day:  1 Timothy 6:18

Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.

In this world money comes and money goes. To be truly rich in life do good deeds and cheerfully share what you have with those in need.  Build your treasure in heaven by doing the work of the Lord.  For example, visit the sick, feed the hungry and help others to know God, these are things that make a difference.
