Alone Time with God

Verse of the Day:  Luke 5:16

But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

Faith in Action: It’s not always easy to find time or a quiet place to pray. Intentionally, set aside time and make a genuine effort to be alone with God in prayer every day. That time will never be wasted and will always be worth the effort.

Verse of the Day:  Luke 5:16

But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

God wants you to get away from all the noise and distractions around you to spend some quiet time with Him in prayer. Jesus, as an example for us, chose to get away and pray in private. It’s not always easy to find the time or a quiet place but if you make an effort to be alone with God in prayer it will always be worth it. You are never less alone than when you are alone with God.

Lord, thank You for always being there for me. The best part of my day is when I am alone with You. I just want You to know how much I love You and how grateful I am for Your unfailing love. Help me to put You first in everything I do. Amen
