Keep On Keeping On

James 1 12 2

Verse of the Day:  James 1:12

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

There will be trials, there will be tough times, but God is with you and if you don’t give up you will be blessed. Be patient in afflictions, keep believing and keep praying. It’s no surprise that we will face adversity Jesus said we will have troubles but to take heart because He has overcome the world. So when these troubles come stand firm in your faith and trust in the Lord. Stay strong, you are not alone, and it will all be worth it in the end for when that day comes you will receive the crown of life, which is a gift from God.

Obedience to God Brings Blessings

Psalm 128 1-2

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 128:1-2

Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.

It doesn’t matter if you are rich, poor, old, young or what race you are blessings and prosperity come to all who fear the Lord. Reverence to God, submitting to His will and obedience to His Word are the keys to being blessed and prosperous. God wants you to enjoy the fruits of your labor, to be blessed and prosperous! If you walk in His ways all will be well with your soul while you live and even better, for all eternity.

Experience God for Yourself

Psalm 34 8

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 34:8

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

I am personally inviting you to experience the infinite goodness of the Lord. He is perfect in every way, the author of all good things, everything about Him is good and He loves you. Turn to Him, put your hope in Him and put your trust in Him alone. He is the only one that can fill your heart with peace. You will never know what it’s like to have a relationship with the Lord until you make an effort to really seek and experience Him for yourself. A good place to start is by praying and reading the Word of God.
