Verse of the Day: Mark 12:31
The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.
Sometimes we forget the “as yourself” part of this verse. Many of us struggle with loving and taking care of ourselves, we even feel guilty for doing so. We put everyone else’s needs first but the truth is we can’t love anyone else if we don’t take care of our own health, mind, body and spirit. Make self-care a priority and remember, you can’t pour out blessings from an empty cup.
Verse of the Day: Matthew 7:11
So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him. (NLT)
Doesn’t it make you feel wonderful to know you have given your children what they’ve asked for on their Christmas list? Now, think about how much more your heavenly Father also wants to give you good gifts. God loves you and it makes Him happy to bless you with the desires of your heart. God already knows what you need before you ask, if you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer according to His will.
Verse of the Day: 2 Thessalonians 1:3
We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.
I am thankful for the love of family and friends. I’m grateful to have such wonderful people as part of my journey. Each person God has put in my life adds something unique and special to it and I love and appreciate them all. I’m thankful for the love we share between us, for the experiences we go through together and for the memories that will be in my heart forever. As I thank God for you I pray that He would continue to bless and protect you always.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 127:3
Children are a blessing and a gift from the Lord.
Every child is a blessing and a gift from God, unique and special in their own way. It is up to us to guide, protect and to teach them the ways of the Lord. Inspire and encourage your children by being an example of what it is to be a child of God. Pray for your children and ask God to bless them and don’t forget to thank the Lord for this special blessing.
Verse of the Day: Psalms 128:1-2
Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.
Prosperity and blessings come from God. Reverence to the Lord and obedience to His Word are the keys to being blessed and prosperous. God wants you to enjoy the fruits of your labor, to be blessed and prosperous!
Verse of the Day: Psalm 90:17
May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us — yes, establish the work of our hands.
Ask God to bless the work of your hands so that you may be fruitful and productive. Ask Him to help you enjoy your work so you can see Him glorified in all aspects of your job. And when your work is demanding, pray for strength and a good attitude.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 68:19
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
Wake up with praise on your lips, focused on God. Start your day right and receive the blessings the Lord has in store for you today. Each day is loaded with blessings of joy, peace, mercy, grace and salvation!
