Verse of the Day: Matthew 10:32
Therefore, everyone who acknowledges me before people, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven.
All around us people are standing up for what they believe in. They’re rallying and marching for political parties, rights, you name it and there’s a march for it. It’s time for us to have the courage and confidence to also stand up for what we believe in, Jesus Christ! He is the way, the truth and the life!
Verse of the Day: Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
One of the most important things we can ever teach children is how much God loves them. Knowing they are loved by God Himself will give them confidence to shine. Let’s be examples for the children in our lives and teach them what it is to know and love God and what it is to be loved by Him.
Verse of the Day: Isaiah 32:17
The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.
God’s presence in our lives changes everything. When we submit to God’s will, He gives us a calmness and inner peace that nothing on the outside can take away. We’ll have a quiet confidence that no matter what happens we know God is in control and we know that God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)
Verse of the Day: 1 John 5:14
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
Pray with the full confidence that God hears you, He is faithful and He is a loving God. God hears all your prayers and He answers each one with a yes, no or wait. The key words here are “according to His will”. You must always pray “according to His will” and ask that His will be done, not yours, for He alone knows His plans for you. No matter what the answer is, know that He has heard your prayer.
Verse of the Day: 1 Thessalonians 1:4
We know dear brothers and sisters, that God loves you and has chosen you to be His own people.
Live with confidence and walk with your head held high knowing that God loves you and has chosen you to be His own. You belong to the Father because the Father chose you. It wasn’t by accident or a mistake, it was intentional. How wonderful is that? To know that God Himself chose you should give you the faith you need to follow Jesus wholeheartedly.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 46:5
God is within her, she will not fall
When God is in your heart and soul you can face anything that comes your way. Put your hope and trust in God and His mighty power to uphold you. God is a present help and you can turn to Him in all circumstances. You can turn to Him in times of trouble and let His grace and mercy lift you up. God is with you and will help you when you put Him first in your life. Have confidence that He is always within you.
Verse of the Day: Philippians 1:6
being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Have you ever felt like it was taking way too long for God to change you? You might even have wished you could rush God into changing you over night. We all do, but it doesn’t happen that way. You need to be confident that in His way and in His timing He is changing you. We know this because He always finishes what He starts, so when you feel like you’re not changing fast enough, have faith and trust that God is still working on you.
