God Chose You

Verse of the Day:   1 Thessalonians 1:4

We know dear brothers and sisters, that God loves you and has chosen you to be his own people.

Live with confidence and walk with your head held high knowing that God loves you and has chosen you to be His own children. You belong to the Father because the Father chose you not because He had to but because He wanted you. It wasn’t by accident or a mistake, it was intentional. He chose you not because of anything you have done but because of His amazing grace. Now, it’s up to you to try your best to live a holy and blameless life with purpose and on purpose.

Heavenly Father, Thank you for loving me and choosing me to be your very own. Help me to walk confidently knowing that I am yours and help me to live life with purpose in a way that is pleasing to you. Amen

God is Within You

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 46:5

God is within her, she will not fall

As a child of God you need to know that He dwells in your heart and when God is in your heart you can face anything that comes your way. You no longer have to face anything alone because God is always with you. Put your hope and trust in God and His mighty power to uphold you. He is a present help and you can turn to Him in all circumstances and let His grace and mercy lift you up. God is with you and will help you when you put Him first in your life. You can live with confidence knowing that He is always within you.

Morning Prayer

Psalm 5 3

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 5:3

In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.

The most important thing you can do to start your day is to spend time with the Lord in prayer.  Thank Him for waking you up and giving you another day of life. Praise the Him for His goodness and His mercy that starts new every morning. Lay your requests and concerns at His feet. Invite Him into every part of your day. Be consistent and diligent with your prayers, always praying with the confidence that God hears you. Make time to pray every morning and ask God to give you the peace and guidance you need to go through your day.

Hope

Jeremiah 17 7

Verse of the Day:  Jeremiah 17:7

Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD.

Hope is confidence in God’s love, His promises and in His Word. Hope is the anticipation of drawing closer to God. Hope is the optimism you have in knowing that no matter what may come God will get you through it. Hope is the assurance you have in knowing that with God all things are possible. Hope is the confidence you have in the Savior and the expectation of spending eternity with our heavenly Father. Hope is a blessing from God and when you put your hope in Him you won’t be disappointed.

God is Faithful

Psalm 89 2

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 89:2

I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself.

Though life may disappoint and try us, we can be assured that God honors and fulfills His promises. We can trust and rely on God’s faithfulness which has been established in heaven and stands firm forever. During the hardest trials, our faith in God’s love and mercy will always bring us peace and comfort. Our hope and confidence in God lies in His faithfulness because His Word is true and trustworthy forever and ever. Even if we are faithless, God remains faithful. (2 Timothy 2:13)

Perseverance

Hebrews 10 36 2

Verse of the Day:  Hebrews 10:36

You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

When times are tough, when you are struggling or when things in your life seem fruitless, be patient, stay strong and don’t give up. Keep on the path God has set you on in spite of difficulty, obstacles or discouragement. Don’t lose your confidence in God or in His promises, wait patiently on the Lord because He is always on time. Don’t give up, you only fail if you quit. Continue in the will of God, finish your race strong and you will receive what He has promised, eternal life.

Straighten Your Crown

Hebrews 4 16

Verse of the Day:  Hebrews 4:16

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

We all have days when we wake up feeling like we just can’t face another day. Don’t let that overwhelming feeling discourage you. Take a deep breath, remind yourself that you are a daughter of the King and straighten your crown. Come boldly to the throne of God to lay your burdens at His feet and receive His mercy and grace for today. God is with you, God is for you and God loves you.

A Confident Woman of God

Proverbs 31 25

Verse of the Day:  Proverbs 31:25

Strength and honor are her clothing; she is confident about the future.

A virtuous woman of God carries herself with strength and honor in her attitude and her behavior. She is in control of her actions and does everything with purpose and uprightness. She is respected for more than her outward appearance, she is respected for her godliness and holiness. She is confident because she knows God is in control of her life and the future.

More than Conquerors

Romans 8 37 2

Verse of the Day:  Romans 8:37

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Romans 8:35 poses the question: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? The answer my found in Romans 8:37-39. We are to have confidence in knowing that no tribulation, suffering, persecution, absolutely nothing can separate us from the love of Christ.  His love is not earned so it cannot be lost, it is undeserved and limitless. We are not just conquerors over sin and despair, we are more than conquerors in all things through Jesus Christ because even when we go through these things our faith is made stronger. We have the victory through the blood of the Lamb.

Jesus Christ is Lord!

Matthew 10 32

Verse of the Day:  Matthew 10:32

Therefore, everyone who acknowledges me before people, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven.

Atheism is on the rise around the world, the new generations aren’t going to church like they used to. To those who don’t know the Lord, Christianity has become uncool and old-fashioned. But the truth is, the world needs Jesus more than ever. It’s time for us to have the courage and confidence to privately and publicly stand up for what we believe in, Jesus Christ! Let the world know it’s not enough to believe in Jesus with our heart, we must also confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. He is the way, the truth and the life!
