Be Strong & Don’t Give Up

Verse of the Day: 2 Chronicles 15:7

But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.

We all encounter moments of discouragement and temptation to give up. Even the mightiest warriors experience moments of weakness. If the Lord has placed a good work in your heart and given you a dream, He will make a way for you to achieve it. While the journey may be challenging, take comfort in knowing that God is on your side. Your efforts for His honor and glory won’t go unnoticed; in fact, they will be rewarded. Stay strong, don’t give up, and continue working diligently for the Lord

Straighten Your Crown

Verse of the Day: Hebrews 4:16

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

There are mornings when the weight of the day ahead seems unbearable. But you don’t have to let that overwhelming feeling discourage you. In those moments, remember that you are not alone, God is with you. Take a deep breath and remind yourself that you are a cherished daughter of the King and straighten your crown with confidence. Boldly come to the throne of the King and lay your burdens at His feet and receive mercy and grace for the day.

Joyful – Patient – Faithful

Verse of the Day: Romans 12:12

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

The Christian life is not always easy. Jesus Himself acknowledged that we would encounter difficulties, yet assured us of the peace found in His victory over the world (John 16:33). Our joy comes from the hope we have in Jesus Christ, as recipients of salvation with the promise of eternity in heaven. In times of trial, patience becomes a virtue, knowing that our faith is strengthened as we rely on God for healing, comfort, provision, and peace. Amidst the chaos of the world, maintain faithfulness in prayer, especially during tribulations. Instead of being overcome by discouragement, take every concern, fear, and doubt straight to the throne of God.

Don’t Be Discouraged

Verse of the Day: Deuteronomy 31:8

The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

There are days when we feel discouraged. You may be experiencing a particularly rough day where nothing seems to go your way, and you’re tempted to throw in the towel. It’s during these moments that turning to God can provide peace. By surrendering your burdens to God, you’re reminded that regardless of the challenges you face, He stands by your side unwaveringly. He will always be there to provide guidance, strength, and protection through every trial. Trust in the Lord, and you’ll find the courage to keep on going.

Spiritual Battles

Verse of the Day:  2 Corinthians 10:4

For the weapons of our warfare are not physical, but they are mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds.

We each fight spiritual battles every day. Discouragement, anger, stress and defeat are just some of the enemy’s tactics as he tries to bring you down. When the devil sees that God has something great for you just around the corner he will fight his hardest to keep you from what God has in store for you. Be alert and recognize his schemes so you don’t fall into his traps. Arm yourself with spiritual weapons, the Word of God and prayer. We will not win the war against evil by our own strength but by the power of the mighty God we serve. Whatever you are battling today remember that God is on your side and you are more than a conqueror through Christ.

Enjoy Life

Ecclesiastes 3 12

Verse of the Day:  Ecclesiastes 3:12

I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live.

God has given you the precious gift of life and He wants you to be happy and enjoy it. Enjoy all of God’s blessings with a thankful heart. Enjoy yourself in the things of the Lord. Spend time doing things that make you happy with the people you love. Whenever have the opportunity to do good for others, do it. Life is short and God doesn’t want you to go through it sad or discouraged. Be happy, keep life simple, love God and love people.

Perseverance

Hebrews 10 36 2

Verse of the Day:  Hebrews 10:36

You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

When times are tough, when you are struggling or when things in your life seem fruitless, be patient, stay strong and don’t give up. Keep on the path God has set you on in spite of difficulty, obstacles or discouragement. Don’t lose your confidence in God or in His promises, wait patiently on the Lord because He is always on time. Don’t give up, you only fail if you quit. Continue in the will of God, finish your race strong and you will receive what He has promised, eternal life.

My Comforter

Isaiah 49 13

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 49:13

Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you mountains! For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.

The world attempts to keep you content but the only place to find real comfort and compassion is in the Lord. Shout for joy and rejoice because God loves and cares for His people. He doesn’t want you to suffer or be discouraged. Pour out your heart in prayer, for the Lord will never forsake you.
