Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

It’s not always about the words you use when you try to tell people about Jesus. Sometimes actions do speak louder than words and it’s the way you live for Christ that makes the most impact.  Whether you know it or not, people are watching you. They are watching to see if your actions match your words. They know you can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk? No one is perfect and God is continually working in us but we can try our best to live a life of humility and integrity. Lend a Helping Hand

Proverbs 31 20

Verse of the Day:        Proverbs 31:20

She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.

As godly women who love the Lord we should aspire to help the poor and needy. Do what you can for as many as you can when you can. That doesn’t mean we all have to do extraordinary things. Sometimes, it’s simply a kind word, a sincere gesture or lending a helping hand to someone in need. Each of you should do what God puts in your heart to do and do it with love, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Generosity and Compassion

Proverbs 22 9

Verse of the Day:  Proverbs 22:9

The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.

God is generous with us and He expects us to be generous with others. We serve a compassionate God and when we give ourselves to Him, He creates a compassionate heart in us. The awesome thing is that when we give to others from our heart God blesses us even more.  Not only does He bless us with earthly blessing but also with spiritual blessings. Be generous to those in need and do everything in love. No matter how much we give we can never out give God.
