Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Fruit of the Spirit: We may not be able to solve everyone’s problems but we sure can be an encouragement to everyone by spreading Love, Joy, Peace, and Kindness. Let your words be an encouragement and an inspiration to those who hear them.

But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
There is so much negativity in the world, on social media and everywhere we look. Instead of spreading negativity speak words of encouragement, pray for one another, remind each other of God’s wonderful promises. God has called each one of us to encourage each other daily. Don’t let sin harden your heart, instead be kind to one another. You never know what someone may be going through and something as simple as a kind word may help them get through the day.
Lord, Thank you for another day of life and for all of your wonderful blessings. In a world filled with so much negativity, help us to encourage one another and to be kind to everyone we meet. Help us to show the love of Christ to a world that is hurting so that they may know your unfailing love and compassion. Amen

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
We are all going through a lot right now. Let your love for God and your gratitude for His mercy and goodness inspire you to share His love and with others. Let’s motivate each other and encourage acts of love and service for those in need so that our heavenly Father may be glorified. We need to do something, help somebody, tell someone about Jesus, if not us then who will?

Use the Word of God to encourage one another and to lift each other up by reminding each other of God’s everlasting love for us. Use your words to build each other up not tear each other down. Share the love of God by praying with each other and for each other. Be a friend and a blessing to those in need (we are all in need).

In life there will be times when you need encouragement and there will be times when you need to encourage others and show compassion. There will be times when you go through hardships and need someone to lean on and there will be times when others will need to lean on you. We all face temptation and trials and as brothers and sisters in Christ we need to be there for one another, sympathizing, praying and sharing the love of Christ.

Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
As followers of Christ we should show sincere brotherly love to one another. Let’s encourage each other by giving honor where honor is due. Everyone needs to feel appreciated and we all know someone who deserves a little credit for everything they do. There are many ways to honor someone who truly deserves recognition. It can be as simple as saying thank you, your kindness has not gone unnoticed or it can be something extravagant. The point is to recognize and encourage them.

But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.
Your words matter, they have the power to hurt or help. Sometimes we say things we don’t mean and sometimes we say things without thinking of the consequences of what we’ve said. Once words come out of your mouth they cannot be taken back or unheard. We need to be careful with our words because we will have to give an account for them someday. Use your words to encourage one another, use them for good not evil.
