Give God the Glory!

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 63:3

Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.

Our worst day with God is better than our best day without Him. Our life, health, job, riches, friends and family and everything else are meaningless without the love of God. Everything here on earth is temporary but God’s love for us is forever and nothing can ever separate us from His love. We have so much to be grateful for and when we begin to glorify God for all He has done for us and count our blessings we see that His love is better than life itself.

Use Your Gifts

Romans 12 6-8

Verse of the Day:  Romans 12:6-8

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

By the grace of God, He has given you gifts specific to the purpose He has planned for you and the church. Not everyone has the same gift, each one of us is unique but together we make the body of Christ complete. There are different types of gifts but it is the same God that works in all of you. As part of the body of Christ, it’s your responsibility to discover how to use those gifts for the good of the church and humanity. Whatever your gift is, your goal should be to use it to the best of your ability for God’s purpose so that He may be glorified.

Love and Good Deeds

Hebrews 10 24 3

Verse of the Day:  Hebrews 10:24

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.

We are all going through a lot right now. Let your love for God and your gratitude for His mercy and goodness inspire you to share His love and with others. Let’s motivate each other and encourage acts of love and service for those in need so that our heavenly Father may be glorified. We need to do something, help somebody, tell someone about Jesus, if not us then who will?

Happy Leap Day!

Psalm 118 24

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 118:24

This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

A leap year is a calendar year that contains an additional day added to keep the calendar year synchronized with the astronomical year or seasonal year. (Wikipedia) This happens every four years and that extra day is today!  This is the perfect day to take a leap of faith.  What has God put in your heart to do? Today is the day to take action. Do some good, help someone in need, share the love of God today and every day. How will you glorify God on this extra day?

The Work of Our Hands

Psalm 90 17

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 90:17

May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us — yes, establish the work of our hands.

Ask God to bless the work of your hands so that you may be fruitful and productive.  Ask Him to help you enjoy your work so you can see Him glorified in all aspects of your job.  And when your work is demanding, pray for strength and a good attitude.

Loaded with Blessings

Psalm 68 19

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 68:19

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

Wake up with praise on our lips, focused on God.  Start your day right and receive the blessings the Lord has in store for you today.  Each new day is loaded with blessings of joy, peace, mercy, grace and salvation!  Glorify your Lord and Savior!

Glory to God

psalm 63 3

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 63:3

Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.

Our worst day with God is better than our best day without Him. God’s love, grace and mercy cover us because He is faithful even when we are not.  We have so much to be grateful for and if we begin to glorify God for all He has done for us and count our blessing we would see that His love is better than life itself.
