Verse of the Day: Acts 20:19
I served the Lord with great humility and with tears and in the midst of severe testing by the plots of my Jewish opponents.
There will be times when you go through things so difficult you cannot see the light of day through your tears. There will be times when your faith and your patience are tested like never before. You might even feel like giving up on God but don’t give up, that’s when you need Him the most. Prayer is the most powerful weapon you have. Cry out to God, He hears you and He loves you. Continue to serve the Lord with humility through every trial and tribulation and He will see you through it. God is faithful and He promises to never leave you. With His help you can get through anything so don’t give up instead give it all to God because it doesn’t matter who or what is against you when God is for you.
Verse of the Day: 1 Chronicles 16:11
Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.
No matter how many times you cry out to God for strength He will be there. He hears you every single time. Don’t give up, don’t stop seeking the Lord. Don’t let anything keep you from seeking His face. God will give you the strength you need to get through anything. No matter what you face He is by your side and will never leave you. If your soul is weary, if you’re going through troubled waters, if you’re facing temptations or whatever trials you are going through pour your heart out to God because He promises not only to give you strength but to be your strength.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 5:3
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.
The most important thing you can do to start your day is to spend time with the Lord in prayer. Thank Him for waking you up and giving you another day of life. Praise the Him for His goodness and His mercy that starts new every morning. Lay your requests and concerns at His feet. Invite Him into every part of your day. After spending time with God you can face anything that comes your way.
Verse of the Day: Matthew 6:10
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
If you don’t know how to pray or what to pray for, start by praying for God’s will to be done in your life. Praying for God’s will to be done is an act of faith because we know and believe God’s will is perfect and we trust in the plans He has for us. Don’t be intimidated by long, loud or eloquent prayers. Prayer doesn’t have to be full of big, fancy words it just has to be from your heart. Have a sincere conversation with God and pray knowing and believing that He hears you.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 34:19
The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.
Life can be hard and at times may even seem unfair. You will go through tough times but don’t give up hope. Keep your mind on the things above. Keep praying. Cry out to God and be comforted in knowing that He hears you. Keep your focus on God and He will get you through the troubles that come your way and in due time you will be delivered from them all.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 86:7
When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me.
Faith is not about having the answers; it’s about knowing the one who has the answers. Having a relationship with God is what’s important and we can be encouraged in knowing that God hears our prayers. If we learn to trust in Him, when we call on Him, He will give us peace and comfort. We can have confidence in God at all times even when we can’t find the right words to pray, God hears our heart.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 139:16
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Before we were ever born, God saw us and He knew all about us. He knew everything from our first day to our last. He sees us, He hears us, He knows our thoughts and He knows our hearts. Isn’t it wonderful to know that our God knows us personally? Now, we must not only know of Him and His works, but we must seek to know Him personally.
