God’s Word is Right and True

Psalm 33 4

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 33:4

For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does.

Every word, every promise, every part of God’s Word is right and true. His commands and precepts are righteous and fair. God’s Word is an awesome display of His power, wisdom and goodness. God’s Word exists for all people equally and its path leads to heaven and happiness. We can be confident and believe every Word because He is truly faithful in all He does and keeps every promise. God is good and never changes, we can rely on this truth. He is so deserving of all praise for His righteousness, truth and faithfulness.

Praise His Name

Psalm 99 3

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 99:3

Let them praise your great and awesome name – he is holy.

The Lord is so worthy of our praise. We serve a mighty God who is wonderful, merciful and faithful. Praise Him for who He is, for His goodness and holiness. Praising His holy name invites His presence and opens a path to a deeper connection and relationship with our Creator and the King of the world. Focus on the Lord and give Him all your attention and praise Him with all your heart and soul. Just come before the Lord to give Him praise, honor and glory. Blessed be the name of the Lord!

God Hears You

1 John 5 14

Verse of the Day: 1 John 5:14

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

Pray with the full confidence that God hears you, He is faithful and He is a loving God. God hears all your prayers and He answers each one. Sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes the answer is no and sometimes the answer is not right now but in His timing. The key words here are “according to His will”.  Always pray “according to his will” asking that the Lord’s will be done, not yours, that His promises be fulfilled for He alone knows His plans for you. Pray by faith in the name of Jesus with humility and reverence because no matter what the answer is, you can be sure He has heard your prayer.

Knowing and Trusting God

Psalm 9 10.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 9:10

And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.

The only way to know God is to seek Him with all of your heart.  Spend time with Him in prayer, read the Holy Bible and really make an effort to understand who He is. The more you seek God in faith, the more you will come to know Him. You will know His true nature, power, wisdom, faithfulness and goodness. When you experience God’s love, grace and mercy for yourself you will come to completely trust in Him and realize that He is always there for you.

Let Go, Let God

Psalm 46 10

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 46:10

Be still, and know that I am God

Often, we are tempted to try and work everything out for ourselves but what we really need to do is to just let go and give it all to God.  When you are struggling to make things work out the way you want them to just stop, be still, wait patiently without fear, abide in His Word and let God’s will be done. Acknowledge that He is God and He is in control. He knows you, He knows your troubles and He will make all things work for the good of those who love Him. (Romans 8:28) Surrender your need to control the situation and let God be in charge of your life, His ways are always better and He is always faithful to His Word and His promises.

God’s Love Endures Forever

Psalm 100 5

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 100:5

For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

God loves us and His love is forever not because of anything we have done or anything we will ever do, but because He is good. His lovingkindness for His people will continue forever. His timing is good, His mercy and grace are good, everything He does is good. His truth continues for all generations and He is faithful in keeping His promises. We can always count on Him because He never changes, even when we are faithless, He remains faithful. People may fail you but God never will.
