Verse of the Day:  Psalm 18:2           

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; in whom I will trust.           

When we have a personal relationship with God we learn to trust Him in all situations. We can turn to God to shelter us from the storms of life, to build our hopes on and to deliver us from all our troubles. We know that no matter what is going on around us we can count on Him to be there for us. We can rely on Him to give us peace and help us get through anything because He loves us and He always keeps His promises. People may fail you but God never will.

Lord, You are my rock, my fortress and my deliverer. Thank you for being my shelter from the storm. I know that no matter what is going on in my life I can count on you to see me through it. Thank you for the peace I have in you.  Amen

Knowing and Trusting God

Psalm 9:10

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 9:10           

And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.     

The only way to know God is to seek Him with all of your heart.  Spend time with Him in prayer, read the Holy Bible and make a real effort to understand who He is. The more you seek God by faith, the more you will come to know how wonderful and trustworthy He is. The more you trust God, the more you will see His true nature, power, wisdom, faithfulness and goodness. When you experience God’s love, grace and mercy for yourself you will come to fully trust in Him and realize that He is always there for you and He is worthy of your complete trust.

My Comforter

Isaiah 49 13

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 49:13

Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you mountains! For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.

The world attempts to comfort you and keep you content but the only place to find real peace, comfort and compassion is in the Lord. Shout for joy and rejoice because God loves and cares for His people. Pour out your heart in prayer, for the Lord will never forsake you. He will have compassion on you and His unfailing love will comfort you and give you peace. Though we may suffer, our heavenly Father is always there for us with open arms ready to wipe away our tears.

Seek His Face

1 Chronicles 16 11

 

Verse of the Day: 1 Chronicles 16:11

Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.

 

No matter how many times you cry out to God for strength He will be there.  He hears you every single time.  Don’t give up, don’t stop seeking the Lord.  Don’t let anything keep you from seeking His face.

Knowing and Trusting God

God Is My Salvation

Isaiah 12 2

 

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 12:2

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and will not be afraid, for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.

 

With all the uncertainty in the world around us we can put our trust in God our Savior. We can face anything and not be afraid because God is our strength and our salvation. God loves you, He is always for you and He will always be there for you.
