Verse of the Day:   Isaiah 41:10        

Fear not for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.  

God is telling you not to be afraid because He is with you. What better reassurance can you get? God Himself is saying that you shouldn’t be frightened because He is your God and He’s going to be with you to strengthen, help and defend you, not because you are righteous but because He is righteous. Don’t let fear keep you from what God has planned for you.

Fruit of the Spirit: Start to really rely on God’s promises to support, comfort, and strengthen you. When you do, you will feel Love, Joy, and Peace in your heart.

Don’t Wait for Perfect Conditions

Verse of the Day:   Ecclesiastes 11:4

Those who watch the wind blow will never sow, and those who observe the clouds will never reap.

If you’re waiting for perfect conditions like the right time, the right people, the right job, the right “whatever” to start living your God given dreams (your purpose) you’ll never get started. Don’t be afraid, God is with you and He will equip you with every good thing you need to do His will. It’s okay to start small, at least you’ve started to sow and it’s okay to make mistakes, it shows you’re trying and not just “watching the wind blow”. Don’t wait for “perfect conditions”, start with what you know now and with what you have now. Let go of fear, step out in faith and trust God to make a way.

Lord, Thank you for always being with me and for giving me a dream and purpose. Help me to let go of fear and step out in faith to do the work for Your kingdom. I know that you will equip me with whatever I need to do your will. I trust in you with all my heart. Amen

God Is with You

God is Within You

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 46:5           

God is within her, she will not fall      

As a child of God you need to know that He dwells in your heart and when God is in your heart you can face anything that comes your way. You no longer have to face anything alone because God is always with you. Put your hope and trust in God and His mighty power to uphold you. He is a present help and you can turn to Him in all circumstances and let His grace and mercy lift you up. God is with you and will help you when you put Him first in your life. You can live with confidence knowing that He is always within you.

Peaceful Nights

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 3:5 

I lie down and sleep: I wake again because the Lord sustains me. 

Even in the battles you can find peace because God is with you. When you give all your cares, fears and troubles to the Lord, He will give you rest for your soul. When you trust in the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul and surrender your life to Him, He alone will give you peace unlike anything you’ve ever known. God will allow you to lie down and sleep peacefully knowing that He is in control and He is working everything out for the good of those who love Him. When you wake each morning, thank God for another day of life and praise Him for His goodness and mercy.

Faith Over Fear

Psalm 56:3

Verse of the Day:   Psalm 56:3          

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.        

David was surrounded on all sides by difficulties and dangers and was afraid for his life yet he trusted in God. He acknowledged and admitted his fear and then asked God to show mercy on him and help him. If he had let fear over take his faith, he may have had a different outcome. Likewise, the enemy will use fear to keep you from the plans God has for your life.  He knows if he keeps putting doubts and fear in your mind you will never step out in faith to accomplish what God has planned for you. Turn to God, put your trust in Him alone. When you are afraid, step out in faith knowing that God is with you and He will equip you for what He has called you to do.  So many people never achieve the success God has planned for them because they are too afraid to take the first step. Don’t let fear keep you from living the life God has planned for you.

God Is with You in Every Season

Ecclesiastes 3 1

Verse of the Day:  Ecclesiastes 3:1

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.

Everything has a time and a season. Everything from the creation of earth to the second coming of Jesus Christ and more have been preordained by God. There will be good times, hard times, growing times, quiet times, times of suffering, times of joy and everything in nature also has its season. Every season you can imagine have all been planned and are done according to and for God’s purpose. The most important thing you need to know is that you never have to go through a season alone. You may not understand why things happen the way they do but you need to trust in God and believe that He is with you in every season and He loves you more than you will ever know.

Deep Waters

Isaiah 43 2

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 43:2

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.

In the midst of the deep waters, rivers of difficulty and the fire of oppression believers can take comfort in God’s love for His people. You don’t have to be afraid of difficulties that lie ahead because God is for you and if God is for you, who can be against you? Do not fear, do not let your heart be anxious instead be encouraged because God is with you. If you let God fight your battle He will see you through it and you will not be overcome. Don’t let your faith fail you, He hasn’t brought you this far to give up on you now. The Lord will make a way even when there seems to be no way.
