Deuteronomy 20 4

Verse of the Day:  Deuteronomy 20:4

For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.

Those that love and trust in the Lord may call upon Him in their time of need. Whatever battle you are facing be it physical, mental, emotional or spiritual God is with you and He will fight for you. From the smallest battle to the biggest God will defend you and protect you. This is Christian warfare and the key to victory is to stay in God’s will and to fight on your knees in prayer. You have no reason to fear, trust in the Lord with all your heart and He will give you the victory.

God Is with You

Isaiah 41 10

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 41:10

Fear not for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

God is telling you not to be afraid because He is with you. What better reassurance can you get? God Himself is saying that you shouldn’t be frightened because He is your God and He’s going to be with you to strengthen, help and defend you not because you are righteous but because He is righteous. Don’t let fear keep you from what God has planned for you instead, start relying on God’s promises to support, comfort and strengthen you and start being fearless.

God Will Fight for You

1 peter 2 23

Verse of the Day:  1 Peter 2:23

When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.

It’s in our nature to protect ourselves when we are being attacked whether it’s insults, criticism, or lies. We want to fight back and retaliate with more of the same, we want to defend ourselves with our own arguments.  But when Jesus was being insulted and suffering He did not retaliate.  He put his trust in His Heavenly Father and let God’s will be done.  Put your trust in God and let Him be your defender, He will fight for you and He will judge your enemies accordingly.
