God Will Fight for You

Verse of the Day:  1 Peter 2:23         

When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.  

It’s in our nature to want to protect ourselves when we are being attacked whether it’s by insults, criticism or lies. We want to fight back and retaliate with more of the same. We want to defend ourselves with our own arguments. But when Jesus was being insulted and suffering He did not retaliate. He put His trust in His Heavenly Father and He trusted in God’s will to be done. Put your trust in God and let Him be your defender, He will fight for you and He will judge your enemies accordingly.

Fruit of the Spirit: The battle belongs to God. He will fight for you. You need only to be still, while you practice Patience, Peace, and Self-Control.

Faith in action: Put your trust in God and let Him be your defender. He will fight for you and He will judge your enemies accordingly.

Deuteronomy 20 4

Verse of the Day:  Deuteronomy 20:4

For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.

Those that love and trust in the Lord may call upon Him in their time of need. Whatever battle you are facing be it physical, mental, emotional or spiritual God is with you and He will fight for you. From the smallest battle to the biggest God will defend you and protect you. This is Christian warfare and the key to victory is to stay in God’s will and to fight on your knees in prayer. You have no reason to fear, trust in the Lord with all your heart and He will give you the victory.

You Can Face Tomorrow

2 Chronicles 20 17

 

Verse of the Day:  2 Chronicles 20:17

You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.

 

God knows the battles you face each day.  If you want deliverance you need to give all your troubles to the Lord and let Him fight for you. You don’t have to be afraid and you don’t have to be discouraged, instead stand firm in your faith.  You are not alone and you can face tomorrow because the Lord is with you.
