You Are Precious in His Sight

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 43:4

Because you are precious in my eyes, you are honored, and I love you.

Are you seeing yourself the way God sees you? Here’s a little reminder for you just in case you have forgotten. You are God’s own creation and God doesn’t make mistakes. You have worth, you are a jewel and you belong to God. You have been adopted into His own family, you are His child and an heir to His kingdom. God has given you gifts and talents to use for His purpose because He has a plan for you. He loves you so much He gave His Only Son so you could have eternal life. Stop worrying about the way the world sees you and start seeing yourself the way God sees you, as His precious child.

Heavenly Father, Thank You for your love and patience. I admit that sometimes I forget my worth and I forget how much You love me. Sometimes, I even worry about what the world thinks of me when deep in my heart I know that what You think of me is what really matters. Help me Lord, to remember that I was chosen by You and that I am precious in Your sight. Help me to remain confident in Your love because I am a child of God almighty. Amen

Use Your Gifts

Romans 12 6-8

Verse of the Day:  Romans 12:6-8

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

By the grace of God, He has given you gifts specific to the purpose He has planned for you and the church. Not everyone has the same gift, each one of us is unique but together we make the body of Christ complete. There are different types of gifts but it is the same God that works in all of you. As part of the body of Christ, it’s your responsibility to discover how to use those gifts for the good of the church and humanity. Whatever your gift is, your goal should be to use it to the best of your ability for God’s purpose so that He may be glorified.

In the Potter’s Hands

Jeremiah 18 4

Verse of the Day:  Jeremiah 18:4

But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.

We are the clay pot, marred by sin, often feeling unusable. But in the Potter’s hands He is able to transform us into a new creation. We don’t have to be perfect to be used by God, just willing. If we give ourselves to God, He will mold us into a new vessel fit for His purpose and every good work He has planned for us. We may be broken when we come to God, but He can make us whole.

God Has the Answers

Proverbs 3 5 (2)

Verse of the Day:  Proverbs 3:5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

We won’t always know the answer to why we are going through something or why things are turning out the way they are, we just need to trust the one who does.  God knows everything from the beginning to the end. He knew you before you were born and He knows the plans He has for your future.  Trust in the Lord with all your heart, surrender to His will and know that He loves you and everything He does is out of love for you.

You Are Precious

isaiah 43 4

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 43:4

Because you are precious in my eyes, you are honored, and I love you.

Are you seeing yourself the way God sees you?  You are God’s own creation and we know that He doesn’t make mistakes.  You have worth, you are a jewel and you belong to God.  You have been adopted into His own family, you are His child and an heir to His kingdom.  God has given you gifts and talents to use for His purpose because He has a plan for you.  He loves you so much He gave His Only Son so you could have eternal life. Stop worrying about the way the world sees you and start seeing yourself the way God sees you, as His precious daughter.

God Is With You

Isaiah 41 10.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 41:10

Fear not for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

God is telling you not to be afraid because He is with you.  What better reassurance can you get?  God Himself is saying that you shouldn’t be frightened because He is your God and He’s going to be with you to strengthen you, help you and defend you not because you are righteous but because He is righteous.  Don’t let fear keep you from what God has planned for you instead, start relying on God’s promises and start being fearless.

Happy New Year 2019!

2 Corinthians 5 17

Verse of the Day:  2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:  The old has gone, the new is here!

Leave the past behind you, don’t look back, keep looking forward to what God has planned for you. It’s a new year and you are a new creation in Christ. God’s mercies are new every morning and it’s never too late to start over. Make this a year of faith and courage focused on God!
