Verse of the Day: Jeremiah 29:12
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
Be encouraged, you serve a God who promises to listen to every single one of your prayers. He hears your requests and petitions and answers them in His own timing and in His way. Usually, the answer is yes, no or wait. It’s not always what you want but it is what you need. So pray without ceasing and pray with expectation. Keep praying, keep praising, keep worshiping because God is listening.
Verse of the Day: Habakkuk 2:3
For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end; it will not lie, if it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
We need to learn patience while we stay persistent in prayer, never giving up, all the while trusting in God and in His timing. Though we may not know the exact time God has already determined we do know that God keeps His promises. We cannot rush Him, but we can be sure He will not disappoint and while we wait on Him we must remain faithful. God’s timing is perfect, never late and always on time.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 27:14
Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.
We’re not always good at waiting, it’s just our nature. We get impatient, frustrated and start to doubt God’s will in our lives. Instead we need to be confident in God’s love for us. We need to wait on the Lord’s timing, hope in His mercy and believe in His promises!
Verse of the Day: Psalm 130:5
I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
Wait for the Lord; wait for His presence. Wait with your mind, body and soul. Wait for His answers to prayers, for His guidance, for His promises to be fulfilled in His timing. Wait because His ways are perfect. Wait because He loves you and has a plan for you. Wait patiently, putting all of your hope in His promises. Wait for the Lord.
Verse of the Day: Galatians 4:4-5
But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.
God had predetermined that He would send His Son, Jesus, to save the world from sin. When that time came He sent Jesus to live among us and to ultimately pay the price for ours sins, bringing redemption to all humanity. Jesus was born and died so that through faith we could receive the gift of adoption into God’s family for all eternity.
Verse of the Day: Philippians 1:6
being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Have you ever felt like it was taking way too long for God to change you? You might even have wished you could rush God into changing you over night. We all do, but it doesn’t happen that way. You need to be confident that in His way and in His timing He is changing you. We know this because He always finishes what He starts, so when you feel like you’re not changing fast enough, have faith and trust that God is still working on you.
Verse of the Day: Habakkuk 2:3
For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
We need to learn patience while we stay persistent, never giving up, all the while trusting in God and in His timing. We cannot rush Him but we can be sure He will not disappoint in keeping His promises and while we wait on Him we must remain faithful. God’s timing is perfect, never late, and always on time.
