Verse of the Day: Proverbs 1:5
The wise hear them and grow in wisdom; those with understanding gain guidance.
Solomon asked God to give him wisdom and understanding and it pleased the Lord, so He gave him wisdom and understanding beyond measure. The Book of Proverbs was written to guide people in how they should live their lives. Some say the Book of Proverbs doesn’t apply to today’s times, but it is as relevant now as it was then because God’s word is the same yesterday, today and forever. Learning is a life-long journey, even the wise can gain wisdom.
Verse of the Day: 1 John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
We have been chosen and adopted by God as His own children. His unshakeable power lives in us and His Word is written on our hearts as we experience His truth. Because God lives in us we are overcomers and by faith we have the victory over evil.
Verse of the Day: Exodus 4:12
Now go, I will help you speak and teach you what to say.
If God has put a desire in you to share His Word with others don’t let fear stop you. He will help you speak and teach you what to say. Let God work through you as He gives you courage to share His Word and your testimony with others. Step out in faith and you will be fruitful.
Verse of the Day: Psalms 119:130
The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple,
Seek God with all your heart. Study the Bible. Ask God for wisdom and revelation.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 119:105
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Navigating this world is no easy task. At times you may feel like you’re lost or walking in the dark but God’s Word is here to guide you and to show you the way you should go. The more you know and study God’s Word, the more you can apply it to your daily life. The more you apply it to your life, the clearer the path becomes. Let God guide you through life with His Word.
Verse of the Day: Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
The Bible, which is the Word of God, isn’t some old irrelevant book of stories. It is alive and active today and forever more. If you begin to read God’s word, I promise, it will begin to change your life. Whatever you are going through the answer is in God’s word. Ask God to reveal His Word to you and use it to guide you through life.
Verse of the Day: Ephesians 4:2
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Live a less self-centered life by focusing more on God and by being kind and gentle to others. Humility doesn’t mean you’re vulnerable, it’s actually the opposite. It’s knowing your strengths and your weaknesses while understanding your value. It’s being so strong in your faith that you are obedient to God’s Word no matter the circumstances.
