Verse of the Day:   Proverbs 6:10-11

A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest — and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man.           

Faith in Action: Although you may be tempted to hit the snooze button on the alarm a few more times, particularly on a Monday, it’s time to rise and shine for another week of work. Take pleasure in the work God gives you and do your work diligently for the glory of the Lord. Have a great day and remember to work hard, be kind and stay humble!

Although we may be tempted to hit the snooze button on the alarm a few more times, particularly on a Monday, it’s time to rise and shine for another week of work. Laziness may sound good now but you’ll pay for it later. Hard work and diligence brings prosperity, laziness brings poverty. Take pleasure in the work God gives you and do your work diligently for the glory of the Lord. Work is a gift so be cheerful and thank God for your job, especially in these trying times when many are not able to work. Have a great day and remember to work hard, be kind and stay humble!

Lord, thank You for the strength to face another day. Thank You for the job You have given me. Help me to do my best and work diligently for Your honor and glory. Amen
