Forgiven

isaiah 1 18

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 1:18

“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”

Your sins have been forgiven through the blood of Jesus Christ. What once was scarlet, is now white as snow. Your sins are forgiven. Jesus paid the ultimate price for you and your debt has been forgiven. Let the guilt and shame of the past be cleansed by God’s grace and mercy.

God Is With You

Isaiah 41 10.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 41:10

Fear not for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

God is telling you not to be afraid because He is with you.  What better reassurance can you get?  God Himself is saying that you shouldn’t be frightened because He is your God and He’s going to be with you to strengthen you, help you and defend you not because you are righteous but because He is righteous.  Don’t let fear keep you from what God has planned for you instead, start relying on God’s promises and start being fearless.

Strength Renewed

Isaiah 40 31.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 40:31

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

As 2018 comes to a close we can thank God for seeing us through another year.  Though we may have had struggles we made it through them with the help of the Lord.  The new year, 2019, will soon be here and it’s a time for new beginnings.  Trust in the Lord to renew your strength and refresh your spirit, remember you are more than conquerors through God who loves you and with God, all things are possible.

Name Above All Names

Isaiah 9 6

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder, and his name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

The Messiah, a gift from God, His only Son was born to save mankind.  He is described as Wonderful because of His glorious nature, Counselor because He knew God’s plan and revealed it to us.  He is called Mighty God because He is God as well as man, Everlasting Father of all believers.  He is the Prince of Peace who purchased peace between God and men when He died for our sins.  God gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of JESUS every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11)

Do Right

Isaiah 1 17.jpg

Verse of the Day: Isaiah 1:17

Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.

We each have been given gifts to serve others. Let’s be faithful stewards of God’s grace by using our gifts to do the right thing for others. Let’s give our time and volunteer our gifts and abilities to help those in need.  Do what you can, when you can, for as many as you can.

Rise and Shine

Isaiah 60 1

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 60:1

Arise and shine for your light has come and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.

Rise and let God’s grace lift you up from whatever is holding you down.  Shine so others may see God through you.  Jesus is the light of the world and He came to save the lost and offer you hope and a future.
