Verse of the Day:  James 1:17          

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Fruit of the Spirit: Everything good thing we have in our lives and all our blessing are gifts from our heavenly Father because He Loves us and is always Faithful to provide and care for us. We need to remind ourselves about our blessings rather than getting weighed down by our troubles. Focus on God’s steadfast and unwavering nature, His Love for us and the importance Loving Him and being Faithful in our relationship with Him. Knowing that God is unchanging and Faithful can provide a stable foundation, especially in challenging or uncertain times and can bring a sense of Peace and comfort.

Everything good thing we have in our lives and all our blessing are gifts from our heavenly Father. The devil tries to remind us of the hard times we’ve gone through, the illnesses, the losses and every trial we’ve ever faced just so we’ll forget about all the good things God has done for us. But do not be deceived for God is good all the time, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is the source of every good thing! Instead of counting your troubles, make a list of all the good things in your life and make time to thank your heavenly Father for all your blessings!

Heavenly Father, thank You for every good and perfect gift that comes from You. You are the source of every good thing. I thank You with all of my heart for Your kindness to me and all the blessings in my life. Amen

God is good and every gift from Him is good and perfect. Think about all the good in your life, your job, your home, your family, it’s all a gift from God.  Think about the spiritual gifts you’ve been given; they too are a gift from God. Now think about the greatest gift of all, the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, it all comes from our heavenly Father.  As we go through this holiday season let’s not forget what it’s really about and remember to be grateful for all the gifts from our Father above.
