Verse of the Day: John 13:35
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
Fruit of the Spirit: Your love for Jesus is seen in the way you treat others. When you truly have Jesus in your heart you will show it by being Kind and Gentle, Patient and Good, and by Loving one another so all may see His Love through you.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 51:1-2
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.
There isn’t anything you can do to earn God’s forgiveness. You are forgiven because of who God is not who you are. You are forgiven because God is merciful, loving and compassionate towards His people. God sent His only Son to pay the price for your sins. Pour out your soul to God for mercy and grace. Confess that you are a sinner who needs a Savior and believe that Jesus died to save you. You have been washed from your sins by the precious blood of the Lamb. Repent from your sin and let go of the guilt and shame of sin you’ve been carrying with you because God has forgiven you and wiped your slate clean. It’s time for you to forgive yourself and start living the life God planned for you.
Verse of the Day: Exodus 20:12
Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
If you are blessed to have your mother in your life, honor her as the Lord commands. Be devoted and respectful, affectionate and loving for she won’t always be here. If there are grievances between you, ask God to help you forgive each other. If you are blessed to be a mother, pray that you would be a good example for your children and that they would honor you in the same way you have honored your own mother.

When you have the love of God in your heart it shows. Your love for God is not seen in your outward appearance but in the way you treat others. If you truly have the love of God in your heart you will show it by being kind, generous and loving to those who need to see God’s love through you.
