Actions Speak Louder than Words

1 John 3 18 3

Verse of the Day: 1 John 3:18

Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

It’s not always about the words you use when you try to tell people about Jesus. Sometimes actions do speak louder than words and it’s the way you live for Christ that makes the most impact.  Whether you know it or not, people are watching you. They are watching to see if your actions match your words. They know you can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk? No one is perfect and God is continually working in us but we can try our best to live a life of humility and integrity. Follow the example of Jesus and try your best to do everything with love. “May your life preach more loudly than your lips.” – William Ellery Channing

Let Them See God in You

Colossians 4 5

Verse of the Day: Colossians 4:5

Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.

There is no doubt we all live very busy lives. We work, we have families to take care of, appointments to keep, people to see and things to do. It’s important that we give our best to the things we do. Whether we realize it or not, people are watching us to see if we practice what we preach. Always conduct yourself in a way that pleases God because you represent Him everywhere you go and in everything you do. Make the most of every opportunity by treating everyone with the love of God so that they can see God through you and in everything you do.

Transformation Speaks Volumes

1 Corinthians 2 4

Verse of the Day:  1 Corinthians 2:4

My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power.

It’s not always about the words you use when you try to tell people about Jesus. Sometimes actions do speak louder than words and it’s the way you live for Christ that makes the most impact.    Whether you know it or not, people are watching you. They see the changes in you and the transformation that only God can make in your life.

colossians-4-5

Verse of the Day:  Colossians 4:5

Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.

There is no doubt we all live very busy lives.  We work, we have families to take care of, appointments to keep, people to see and things to do.  It’s important that we make wise decisions about what we give our time and attention to and it’s important that we give our best to those things. Whether we realize it or not, people are watching us to see if what we preach is what we practice.  Conduct yourself in the best light as we represent the Lord in everything we do and in everything we do, let them see God in you.
