Praying for God’s will to be done is an act of faith because we know and believe that God’s will is good and perfect and therefore, we trust in His plans and His will for us. Pray that your own will, heart and actions would conform to God’s will by making Him the center of your life. Don’t be intimidated by long, loud or eloquent prayers. Prayer doesn’t have to be formal or full of big, fancy words it just has to be from your heart. Have a sincere conversation with God and pray knowing and believing that He hears you.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people
Take time to pray for your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors. Pray for your pastor and your church. Pray for our leaders and people in authority and while you’re at it, pray for your enemies as well. Pray that God would protect them and keep them from any evil the enemy has planned. Pray for God to bless and provide for them knowing that all good things come our Heavenly Father. Humbly come before the Lord with your specific prayers asking God for His will to be done as you intercede for others. Whether your prayers our general or specific, thank God for hearing your prayer, for His love and mercy for all people. We don’t always know what people are going through but one thing is for sure, they can always use our prayers and not one prayer is ever wasted.
