Life’s Instruction Manual

proverbs 3 1-2

Verse of the Day:  Proverbs 3:1-2

Do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.

People often joke about life not coming with an instruction manual. It actually does, it’s called The Holy Bible. The Book of Proverbs is an excellent place to start if you’re looking for instructions. It is an example of the Biblical wisdom tradition, and raises questions of values, moral behavior, the meaning of human life, and right conduct. (Wikipedia) If we live our lives according to God’s commands and keep His Word in our heart we can avoid many problems and live a long, peaceful and prosperous life.  Even better than that, we can live forever in heaven.

Reverence to God, submitting to His will and obedience to His Word are the keys to being blessed and prosperous. God wants you to enjoy the fruits of your labor, to be blessed and prosperous! If you walk in His ways all will be well with your soul while you live and even better, for all eternity.
