10 Days of Thanksgiving – Day 6: Thankful for God’s Love and Kindness

Jeremiah 31:3

Verse of the Day:  Jeremiah 31:3

The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.

I’m thankful for God’s love and kindness. To be honest, I’m not always easy to love. I have good days and I have bad days and sometimes I feel moody and just want to be left alone. These are things I’m working on with the help of the Lord. But, I thank my God that no matter how I feel, His love for me never changes. It’s not a temporary love, but one that keeps on proving over and over how much He loves me. God confirms His love for me daily as He forgives, protects, provides, heals and demonstrates His continued grace, mercy and power in my life. God’s magnificent love is sovereign, unchangeable, everlasting and nothing can ever separate me or you from His great love for us. God’s love is life changing and when you begin to believe that He loves you, He always has and He always will you’ll no longer be the same. So, today I just want to thank God for loving me and always being there for me.

10 Days of Thanksgiving – Day 1: Thankful for All of God’s Wonderful Deeds

Psalm 9:1

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 9:1

I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

Thanksgiving Day is quickly approaching and I thought it would be nice to share some of the things I am thankful for. The Lord has been so, so good to me. I am thankful for everything the Lord has done for me and like King David, I want to share His wonderful deeds and goodness with the world. I am grateful for another day of life, for my salvation and for God’s love, grace and mercy. Without them where would I be? The Lord rescued me from a life of sin and although I am not perfect, I am not who I used to be. He has broken the chains that bound me and set me free. I have a roof over my head, food on the table and clothes on my back. The Lord provides for all my needs and so much more. I have an amazing husband who loves the Lord, loves me and loves our family.  I am blessed beyond measure!

My Provider

Philippians 4 19

Verse of the Day:  Philippians 4:19

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

If you’ve never gone through something so difficult that you can’t see how you’re going to make it through and you can’t see the light at the end of tunnel these may just feel like words on paper. But I’m here to tell you from personal experience that God will see you through hardships and He will provide for your needs if you trust Him with all of your heart. Turn to the Lord, He is the Light of the world, He is a way maker. It may not be in a way you were expecting but God will provide enough to meet your needs. In times of need, turn to God. In times of plenty, be a blessing to someone in need because sometimes God uses others to bless you and at other times He may ask you to be a blessing to someone else in need.
